Hi Ya'll, just stopping in to show off my latest work in progress. I am loving this one, and each new square I make becomes my favorite.
Love it!
Love it!
Love it!
One other good thing about this WIP is I am really filling up my scrap jar so fast! This picture was taken Friday night and today it is well over half full.
I have finished 11 squares so far. I am using the join-as-you-go method and sewing in the ends as I go.
I got the color ideas from this finished afghan I came across on Flickr.
I am using the Grandma All Square from Royal Sisters. I love the tutorials found on The Royal Sisters blog, and the photos from Cottage 45 on Flickr. I will post some progress pictures later in the week.
I hope everyone of you has had a wonderful weekend, they never last long enough, and that the week ahead is a great one! TTYS!

Gorgeous colors! My fascination with granny squares keeps growing and growing. The possibilities are endless, and each one is so beautiful. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis is looking beautiful Tracie!
ReplyDeleteThose granny squares are beautiful! I love making granny squares :)
ReplyDeleteLove your colors, Tracie. I'm always partial to blues. When you join your granny squares, do you slip stitch them together? or sc together? Curious. I made two granny afghans last summer and found I liked doing sc stitches to connect them. Just wondering if you know a better way, because your work is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today, Victoria
Thanks, Tracie, for your helpful info. Silly me, I should have clicked on your "join as you go" link before I asked you my question. Thanks for the oh so helpful link!
ReplyDeleteLove you granny squares. So pretty. I love making granny squares, but hate sewing them together. LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by. I know you will fall in love with the macro lens like I. It's on my camera almost all the time. Love the colors here in your granny. Off to click and follow.
