Please forgive me.......

I am so sorry I have not posted in a month. My world has been turned upside down in the last month. I lost my Grandmother to Pancreatic Cancer the 16th of this month. She has always been my rock, my voice of reason, and my very best friend my whole life. It's funny how things can change so fast. We had exactly two weeks and one day from the time she was diagnosed until the Lord took her home. I am still in shock, and somewhat in denial.

I promise to be posting again soon. I just need to get my head on straight..........

I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. Take your time recovering. We'll be here when you feel like coming back. Again, I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment on my necklace.
I want to say I am so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I was 16 when I lost my one and never knew my other-(she died before I was born), but I really missed having her around as I grew up. They seem to be our safety net, the ones we go to besides our mother.
You and your family are in my prayers.
Just remember- she'll never be really gone as long as she's in your heart.

Hi Tracie, thanks for stopping by my corner of the world today. I hope that you are getting back to normal after your loss. My Mammaw died in 1988 and to this day I still wish I could talk to her and spend time with her again. It is hard to lose someone who means so much to us. Your crochet work is lovely. I learned when I was 20 and have just picked it back up again over the past couple of years due to all the inspiration from blogging. I always did the same pattern -- flower, leaves, square and would make afghans, but now I am trying many new things. Love that it is a portable hobby. Hope you are having a wonderful Mother's Day! Best wishes, Tammy
