It is Finished...

Finished!!!!  Sorry, it feels so good to actually have finished something that I just had to shout it.

I love how this little baby blanket has turned out. Perfect colors for a little baby boy.

They match the colors of the Jungle themed nursery.

Please ignore the weed filled flower bed in the back ground, just concentrate on the blanket. :-)

Speaking of finished, yesterday was Marandas last day of Kindergarten.

A picture of her on her first day of school in August. Look at all that hair.

And a picture of her on the last day of school.
It is so hard to believe I have a first grader now. Next thing I know she will be starting college.

I Love Spring!

This is one of the reasons I haven't been crocheting as much lately.

Every year I  plan where I want to put flower beds.

And fill pots full of plants.

To fill the side porch,

and the ground.

So this year I decided to quit just planning and start doing!

The walkway going to the side door. The door we use all the time.

My oldest picked out these. She likes the name of them (Snap Dragons), but always calls them Snapping Dragons.

This is me. I promise I have on pants, they are pale pink PJ pants! Ha! That is also a sweater I have on because Mother Nature is so moody this year and decided we needed cooling off.

Now as promised. The progress on the Blue Granny.

Only 15 more squares to go then the rounds of border. I just got to get going on it agian.

Maybe when I finish this. This is a new baby blanket I have started. It is going to my Cousin Heather. Remember her from this post? She is due again around the first of September! Thomas will turn one on September 29th! Two babies less than a year apart. She is having another little boy. This will make 1 girl 4 boys! Lord help her!

The pattern is Sunny Spread by Ellen Gormley, found on Ravelry. I am doing 5 squares by 5 squares and about about 12 rounds of single crochet for the border. Only two more brown squares to make and then just joining and border.

Tomorrow morning Maranda graduates from Kindergarten! So hard to believe, my babies are growing up  so fast. Tomorrow Kindergarten, next week College.

I hope you all are having a great start to the week. TTYS!

Thank You!

I want to take a moment to just thank all of you for sticking around. I lost one follower and gained two during my time away from blogging. I really appreciate all the messages, thoughts, and Prayers. They have really helped me get through this rough time. Things are getting easier, though I know it will never get "better". I am so thankful for 36 years of wonderful memories of my Murry, and all the pictures I insisted I take of her, even when she would protest!

I have a few WIP's going right now. I am still working on the Granny in Blue blanket. I have only 15 more squares to go then the border. The only problem is I have Project ADD! Thanks to Flickr, Ravelry, fellow Bloggers, and many other pattern sites I am always seeing so many other things I have to make! Does anyone else have this issue? Oh and the fact that I have two cousins expecting in August and September, both having boys, and they have to have new little blankets for the babies. I have one blanket started and will show pictures later in the week.

Thank you again for sticking around. You just don't know how much that means to me. TTYS!
